Route 120 Bypass Update: November 2007

Ahh, the proposed Route 120 bypass. When I first read about this last year on the Round Lake mayor’s blog, I was elated. Finally, needed infrastructure coming to northern Lake County! The bypass is still in the planning and studying phases.

Mayor Bill Gentes has a November 2007 project status update on his blog. There was also a midday meeting on December 13, but such a schedule doesn’t work for me because I work during the day.

The Sierra Club wants it rerouted. A group of developers want to put retail and residential properties on it.
