Lake County Motorist

Suburban Chicagoland commuter and motorist weblog

Relaunch coming soon

After a lengthy hiatus, I’m planning to relaunch Lake County Motorist in the coming weeks. The format will change, as I don’t have as much time to work on the site as I originally did, but I’ve missed this blog. Amazingly, traffic hasn’t improved much in Lake County during my hiatus, so there is much to blog about. Hang tight, and pardon our dust as I move a few things around.

Yay! I’ve been wondering about you!

Great! I actually was thinking of starting my own blog on the same subject because I’m so frustrated with the status quo. It routinely took me 30 mins to go 4 miles along Half Day Rd. through Highland Park and Bannockburn and as long as 50 minutes this fall. Exceedingly frustrating!

    • Ugh, Rt. 22’s never-ending construction is proof Lake County hates us and wants us to be miserable. Seriously though, I’m with you on that one. Plus, there’s new construction at Routes 22 and 83. Can’t win for losing!

  3. Thanks! I’m going to tweak a few things, probably personalize the place a bit.

Hi! I’m so glad you’re back! I was hoping that you would return soon. Looking forward to reading new posts.

    Thanks!
    Laura 🙂
